I got this idea last night after dropping a lot of stuff, especially in the kitchen.
You and I both know of the "Michael Bay: Explosions!" thing, but what about before he fixated on blowing things up in movies?
Write about his earlier life, when he was searching for the most impressive sound and special effect. Purely fictional fantasy.
His start at college, making crappy little Super 8 movies on his 8 millimeter camera. Yes. His crushing defeats, and glorious highs! The life-changing experience of his first explosion.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that maybe at a young age, Michael Bay discovered how to make various noises. He experimented by dropping things, but nothing really had that "it" quality he was seeking. He was never really satisfied until his first firecracker on the 4th of July. That first "bang" with pyrotechnics set him on his journey.
